Rain Logic
Sun Feb 16 2014

There was a break in the rain today. I decided to walk up to the creek. I obtained permission from two neighbors to walk through their fields. This cuts my walk in half and keeps me mostly off road, which I enjoy so much more. Cree day2   I got a different view of the mountain from out there in the fields. Notice the threatening clouds! One of the reasons I wanted to go up to the creek today is that I could HEAR it from my front door. Turns out there's a logical reason for that... Creek day1   It's running high. That's a felted blue bowl I hung on that branch with copper wire. Here's another view of the creek. creek day3   A few weeks ago, all that beach area was exposed. Not any more! On the way back home, it started raining. I took this video of some duck weed swirling in a little drainage ditch. Turn the volume up high so you can hear the raindrops. It's a pretty nice sound.  :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvH6_YB8y1s&feature=c4-overview&list=UUScvfAY4Tg746opWq-B7mtA     lime wild

Drip, drip, drop little Febuary raindrops, beating a tune as you fall on the ground. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the sound of raindrops. Great videos, btw. Thanks for sharing. (That first line was from a song from an animated movie from long ago. Remember which one? The original said April not February.)

Wow, that creek looks a bit different than the last photos you posted of it! Amazing what a little rain can do...

Love the photos the fisherman got some from another source also. I think they were of Kidder Creek.
