Around these parts, we call these things biscuits...

Which are also called biscuits. But they are really cookies. THESE are cookies….

Ok, so biscuits are scones except when they're cookies. Yep, that's cleared up the confusion completely! (They look great though... I'm almost tempted to whip up a batch myself!)
