Today we are making progress on the chicken coop.
It's a warm, sunny day. And we are getting to some of the fun stuff.
K. made the rounded door, just like in the original picture...
He found an old window frame in his barn. I painted it a shocking shade of lilac. The paint color is 'Mountain Majesty', I thought that was quite appropriate all things considered.
I found a manzanita branch up on the hill for a door handle….
I wonder if the chickens will even notice…. I'll bet they will be more interested in what's in the food dish.
Anyway, this is a mid-day update.
The roof is next.
But right now we are taking a much needed lunch break.
