I'm taking a little mental health break while the washing machine does what it does best. Mondays are always interesting around here. It's the change of gears that gets me.
Hub Man has jetted... let me re-phrase that, cycled off to work and I am here alone with the slight feeling of vertigo because the number of entities in the house is smaller and the dynamics are adjusting. I'm sensitive like that.
(This explains SO much.)
Yeah well, I'm just tryin' to keep it real.
I do have a modest bowl of tomatoes that I am going to can today out of sheer habit. I may get two pints out of them. But they will be put up. That's all I can say about it. I want SOMETHING to show for all that hard work in the garden.

I'm the Hen and I approve this course of action.
Also, I have been invited to come and have a visit with Classy. E. called me last week and wanted me to see her now. The rumor is she of so little hair, has become a fur bucket. I'm curious to see this marvel.
Of course RIGHT on the way to Classy's house is the yarn store. I haven't been there for quite some time and I'm afraid I'll have to drop in to check the inventory.
It's a beautiful day. The weather has been fabulous. Upper 80's, low 90's. Divine.

I want to see Classy too.
Can I go?
Can I go?
Can I go?
Can I go?
Oh all right. Let's ALL go.
Goody!
(I get car sick. I want to stay home.)
Nope. You're going.
(Crap.)
I have work to do.
You need a serious airing out. And you are going. Get your hen pocket.
BUK! Oh all right. I'll go. But you have to can those tomatoes when we get home, first thing.
Suddenly, I realized something. It's MORE crowded around here when Hub man is gone... That's weird.
(No Cupcake. YOU are weird. On the weirdometer, you peg the needle.)
Get in the car. Wait till you hear my newest favorite song...
(Oh God.)
