I’m going on a double date today.

With Hub Man, and Harry Potter.

Wizard!

Actually, if I WERE to go on a date with any character in the Harry Potter world, I think it would be Snape. I always thought it was really ridiculous that no matter how many times it was proven that he was on the right side of things, that those dorky kids still suspected him of any number of bone headed misdeeds.

I’m looking forward to his total vindication in this last movie.

In the meantime, I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.

PS I sort of have a thing for Neville too.

I wonder if I have been slipped a love potion in my chai latte?

(It wouldn’t surprise me. It’s ridiculously easy to fool you. I do it every day.)

Be careful ( ) I might have to disapperate you.

    Enjoy. :)

I think we will be waiting a few days........ 'til the initial crowds thin a bit.

Perhaps you should have had a disclaimer in the title. Those who haven't read the books don't the end and truth about Snape. I love him, too, but I would choose the warewolf, whose name is escaping me at the moment. :o(
    Enjoy the movie!

We just got back from Orlando and my 10 and 8yr. old grand kids visited Harry Potter World at Universal. Aside from the fact that it was massively crowded, they really enjoyed it. They each picked out a wand as a souvenir and a solid chocolate Turtle to nibble on. They had a ball looking at all the attractions.

    Enjoy your date!

I was so glad to see that they mostly kept to the book, how did you like it?

Snape?! Are you out of your mind???? He was a Death Eater, he had a hand in the death of Harry's parents, and even afterwards, when he promised to help Dumbledore he still only did it out of love for Lily, not for any affection for Harry. He was not the total evil that Voldemort was, but if the only reason he turned a new leaf was because of Lily's death and not because he acknowledged all the other harms then I'm not exactly going to put him into the "hero" category.

I'm not entirely sure who I'd pick for a Harry Potter date, but I do know that I sure wouldn't mind Mrs. Weasley as a best friend!

I got a pair of keepable, collectable Harry Potter 3-D glasses at the midnight showing. I'm curious if they're giving those out at all the showings or just at the midnight ones.
