  This is what ten cubic yards of topsoil looks like:   DSCN7465 I would love to make a trip to Olivander's for a nice wand to magically transfer this mountain of soil into the garden beds. But alas, I don't know where platform 9 3/4 is located. So we are on our own. (Don't look at me. . . I don't DO manual labor!) Yeah... and don't I know it! DSCN7463 Well, on the bright side, when the thought goes through my mind in the morning... "What shall I do today?".... I'll always have an answer!   lime-wild

    Did you have them put hardware cloth in the bottom to keep the moles out? If not, that is step one. Trust me on this........ Mark didn't think we needed that on our first 4 beds and we have paid for it every year since. One day I'm going to make him did them out and fix that little problem. As to the filling them up project, all I can say is "keep your eye on the prize". Dream about 'maters and taters and carrots and kale..... salads and soups and some casseroles fair. Imagine the bounty and jars in a row, filling your pantry from the seeds that you sow. :)
